Currently Mr. Harari is Director of Credicorp Bank, Director of Compañía Internacional de Seguros and he is member of the Executive Board of the Wharton School. He also is senior international vice president ob B´nai B´rith International, President of Friends of Technion University, Panama and member of the board of Governors of Technion University, Israel.

He also is engaged in family business in the Republic of Panama , some of which are: Banking, insurance, communications, manufacturing, retail, wholesale, distribution and real state development.
Previously Joseph Harari was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Special Mission in Panama, and Ambassador accredited to represent Panama at the OEA meeting in Chile and Ecuador.

In 1990 he received the “Gold Medal” awarded by B´nai B´rith for the defense and help given for the migration of the Jews of Syria, and in 2004 he was awarded the “Vasco Nuñez De Balboa Medal”, the highest civilian award given by the government of the Republic of Panama for contributing to the help and welfare of the country and people of Panama.
