INSEAD

A message from Gabriel Hawawini to INSEAD graduates:

Since the INSEAD - Wharton Alliance was formed in 2001; both schools have enjoyed numerous positive and concrete results. Our students and faculty have exchanged campuses, collaborated on academic courses and projects, and most recently, selected faculty members from both schools have printed the first INSEAD/Wharton publication, the INSEAD-Wharton Alliance on Globalizing: Strategies for Building Successful Global Businesses . But besides these things, INSEAD and Wharton share something even more important – a common vision for business education. Both schools believe in placing emphasis on global knowledge and experience, as well as the importance of lifelong business education. Part of this approach to education includes a healthy relationship with alumni and a continuous learning connection with our students, past and present.

As part of our Alliance, INSEAD is pleased to invite our alumni to attend Wharton’s Global Alumni Forum in Santiago, Chile on June 30th and July 1st. The organizers expect more than 250 alumni participants to gather from around the world.

The forum has a built-in balance of business and pleasure. Organized social and sporting activities will allow many opportunities to connect with both Wharton and INSEAD graduates for professional as well as personal reasons. Claudio Engel, chairman of the forum’s organization committee, warmly welcomes all INSEAD alumni to sign-up and to participate in all activities. Registration forms are available on this website.

A special dinner will be held in celebration of the INSEAD - Wharton Alliance so please be sure to join us for that.

Any further details about the forum are available on this website. We hope that you will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to reinforce your alumni network, as well as the Wharton-INSEAD Alliance. Strengthening our two schools together through our alumni is one of the most powerful ways we can all contribute to the future of global management education.

We look forward to seeing you there,

Gabriel Hawawini
